Ecological baby and childrens clothes can mean that they’re made of organic cotton or other natural fabrics. But children grow really fast and most of the clothes are not worn-out. That’s why we sing ‘hurray’ for Lizanne Hennessey. She has an online webshop with unique items. The shop is called ‘ Mialeentje’ and all items are made of used tees, dresses and trousers.

Lizanne makes two collections each year. She can also make custom-made items, she creates fun accessories and makes ‘bramboy’ clothes for boys. To inspire others to upcycle themselves she also gives practical tips so everybody can start upcycling!
Fashion with a green heart
Lizanne has an off-the-grid workplace in the forest. Even the sewing machine uses solar energy. Every piece of fabric is used and everything is checked so it benefits the environment.
